Warranty & Returns

Our warranty coverage for hardware and software, and how refunds and returns are handled.

Per our Warranty, Maintenance & Support Agreement, Version 2.0 (January 2026)

Warranty Policy

Hardware Warranty — 1 month

Hardware provided by SystemAid carries a limited warranty of one (1) month from purchase against verifiable manufacturer defects.

The hardware warranty is voided by: damage from accident, abuse, misuse, or electrical surge; improper installation or environment; or modification by any party other than SystemAid.

Software Warranty — 5 years

All software developed by SystemAid is warranted against software bugs and defects for five (5) years from purchase. SystemAid will remedy reproducible programming errors at no charge during this period.

The software warranty excludes: user error, third-party software issues, and unauthorised modification.

Warranty Claims

Warranty claims require the original invoice and, for hardware, the original packaging. Non-defective returns may incur a 15% restocking fee.

Protect Your Equipment

Clients are strongly advised to use a UPS with surge protection on all critical systems, including clocking machines and POS terminals. SystemAid is not liable for damage caused by electrical fluctuation.

Refund & Return Policy

Hardware

Return requests are accepted within 15 working days of purchase, with the original invoice and packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies to all hardware returns.

Software

Refund requests must be made in writing within 15 working days of purchase, accompanied by the original invoice. No refunds are granted after the 15-working-day period.

Upon refund approval, the client must:

  • Provide written confirmation that all copies of the software have been permanently deleted from all devices and storage media.
  • Surrender all licence keys, activation codes, and installation media.
  • Grant SystemAid personnel access (remotely or on-site) to verify complete removal and deactivation of the software from all systems.
  • Allow SystemAid to perform the necessary uninstallation and removal procedures if requested.

This page summarises the standard terms of our Warranty, Maintenance & Support Agreement (v2.0). Where a signed agreement exists for your purchase, that agreement governs. This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.
